Railcam are delighted to have been invited to the LNER #Azuma launch day at Lincoln on Monday 21st October. The Lincoln launch will see the #Azuma trains now reaching Leeds, Hull, Skipton, York, Edinburgh and Glasgow, with Aberdeen, Harrogate and Inverness to follow before the year is out.
The introduction of the #Azuma trains has already seen some of the Class 91 hauled MK4 sets withdrawn from services, with the iconic HSTs to follow. Although it will be sad to see the MK4 and HST sets gone, the #Azuma offers a whole new level of customer comfort, including more space, faster and free Wi-Fi and plug sockets at every seat, with smoother, quieter and more reliable journeys.
